Another End

Another session of soccer is coming to an end. He says he's done, which he usually is feeling so by now, and I get that. But I'll ask him in a few months, just before time to register again, and I suspect, if like times in the past, he'll jump back on board for another round. But he also knows that we only do one thing at a time, so if he wants to try out something else, then we might break away for a short bit. The joy of childhood and finding oneself . . .
