Yum! Yum!

On Vanessa's actual birthday we took her to Graeter's for her first taste of ice cream. She tried some of Mommy's and Daddy's. The entire time she kept repeating "Yum . . . yum . . ." or "Mmmm . . ." It seems we found something else she'll sit still for.

Then to formally celebrate her 1st birthday, Vanessa had her first cake yesterday. It was vanilla with buttercream frosting. She loved it!
