The Head of Heritage Trail

About 5 to 6 months passed expected opening date, Hilliard's new Heritage Trail Park had its formal ribbon cutting ceremony on December 3. It is beautiful and very nice at the center of Old Hilliard. It's across the street from the First Responders Memorial. This next summer we'll be able to walk down and enjoy the splashpad and outdoor concerts and activities there. The kids were extremely excited to check it all out -- so much to explore.

When Zane does art on the laptop, he sometimes downloads a copy. I'm thankful he can do that so I don't miss traces of his talent. This is a girl in dress up with a wand. Not a magic wand but a wand. She is drawing a rainbow with her wand.

Look at these sweet guys!

Does anyone else bother to count the number of workers behind the counter at Five Guys?
This night there were 7. Perhaps because it was Black Friday. So let's turn it into math.

If there are supposed to be 5 guys but there are 2 more, how many  are there in all? [Zane: 7!]

If there are 6 boy guys and 1 girl guy behind the counter, how many total guys are there? [Zane: 7!]

If there are 7 guys right now, how many guys need to leave so there are only 5 guys? [Zane: 2!]

Zane: If there are 8 guys and 7 girls, how many do I need to take away if I only want 8?
Mom: 7?
Zane: Nope 8. Because I'm keeping them. Ha, ha . . . I tricked you!
