Pretty sure Hendrix does not need to turn up his intensity. ;-)
Hendrix really was impressive with the trip. Along the way it was like more developmental things were exploding. He started saying "bubbles" consistently. He started identifying "Coke" correctly, seemingly understanding that it's the stuff in the red can and red can only . . . oh, and our in our McDonald's cups.
He is also saying "Grandmama" and "Papapa" consistently, excited to see them and asking about them when they weren't around. In fact, on our way home, at our stop in Charlotte, just before bed he melted down, trying to open the hotel room window like the sliding door at our resort. When he couldn't open it, he started screeming and crying "Grandmama" and "Papapa" over and over until he calmed down to sleep.
He started saying "downstairs" and "upstairs" correctly. And one of our favorite moments was when he sang and still sings "Shhh . . . secret agent" over and over again.
His use of "Help me" in every situation actually seemed to subside some, thankfully, along with gagging himself anytime he wanted something he wasn't getting. (Knock on wood.)
We agreed that we would likely just exhaust Hendrix until he collapsed. Around the same time each day he would fall alseep while being pushed in the stroller and distracted by the sugary taste of a Dum Dum. He may hate me for these pictures one day . . . :-)
