We knew tailgating would be too much for a newborn and recovering mama. So after the game and a nap, we opted to take a short and easy trip to the park to play, where Daddy could chase Vanessa while Mommy and Zane could sit in the shade. Our first trip out? Almost. We made a short visit to Grandma and Grandpa's last evening -- that was our first trip out. (Our visit to the doctor doesn't count.)
