Vanessa has been with her since grade 1. Zane was just getting a taste. Mrs. Lycan has surely enriched our lives.

Bro-Team

It's been fun to see the side of Zane we didn't know until his little brother came along. Sometimes Zane wishes he was still in my belly or to be a small infant so he can always be cuddled, but when we talk about what he would be missing out on if her a tiny baby again, he's grateful to be a great big brother and a great little brother. Hendrix is trying to learn names and calls for his siblings. He tackles Zane and gives him kisses. He thinks Zane's things are his things. They make a great team.

Goal

Zane has had an interest in trying out soccer, so this winter he participated in a clinic that taught him the basics and helped him understand whether or not he was truly interested or cut out for it. Although Sunday afternoons he was rather tired and wasn't always sure he wanted to go, he enjoyed it and decided he wanted to commit for a spring league.

Zane is one of those that struggles with being unsure and would easily back out of something he likes, just because. He needs a little more and a different type of pushing and encouragement than Vanessa. No matter though, our goal is to find that proper balance with him so he can flourish and not struggle with so many what ifs later in life.

He's got the ability and is super at it, but I just want him to find the things he enjoys.

State of the State

Mrs. Burger's 4th grade class recently took their field trip to the Ohio Statehouse. It was a big and fun day!
