Vanessa Playing in Leaves

Vanessa played in leaves for her first time the other day. It was a warm and partly sunny day. After being a little confused by the new experience, she decided she really liked the rustling sounds, textures, and tastes.

We've decided it's time to begin a blog so we can share things about us and our wonderful daughter. Vanessa is now 3 months and 17 days old. The latest news is that Vicky is now a stay-at-home mom. This will be a huge adjustment.

We'll do our best to use this blog to keep all of you informed about all that is happening with us. We're always taking lots and lots of pictures, so this should make it easier for us to share them.

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving -- Vanessa, good health, happiness, family, and friends. We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
